Neat vintage Keuffel & Easier K&E transit in domed metal case with strap, made by Askania of Western Germany.
There is a tape affixed to the side that reads "tran. no. 1." There are several stickers indicating that the surveying instrument belonged to Kara Co. Inc., of Lyons, Illinois. A sticker on the underside states that the machine was repaired 7/13/79. The serial number is 664860. Please review photos.
