Big Jon Goldie (Gold Anodized) Cap't Pack Downrigger — REBUILT

Sadly this came to me without a pivot or rod holders but the main unit is in pretty nice condition. If you have rod holders the Big Jon units are redundant anyway. I use my boat mounted Scotty's rather than the Jon's. The pictures show it off pretty well. The last picture shows what this was broken down to prior to rebuild. The one piece missing from the last picture is the extension part of the boom... the picture doesn't show it too well but one of these was bent a bit and I ended up messing it up pretty bad trying to bend it back. That said, this is what's been done:
Motor opened, checked, and lubed.
Motor re-rubberized.
New motor decal added.
New breaker cover added.
All plastic pieces cleaned up.
Cable checked (150')
New stainless screws etc added where needed.
Lube added where needed.
General clean up... these usually come in quite dusty etc.
Just to note, there is a small hairline crack on one of the bolt areas of the electrical housing. I added washers to these areas to spread the force and keep this from getting worse. There shouldn't be a need to undo these for years to come anyway. The power line is clean at the end so you can add whichever plug you desire. Overall it's a very nice little unit.
